(a) Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks
(b) Two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) conducted by Board of Examination; Govt. of Kerala

(OR) 

(a) Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks
(b)2 yrs Diploma in Elementary Education

(OR) 

(a) Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks
(b) 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education

(OR) 

(a) Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks (b) 2 year Diploma in Education.
